Nostalgia...

hmm....A few minutes ago, a junior came to my unit(a unit has 2 rooms and i share it with 2 other unit mates). He was looking pale and ghastly due to exam pressure....At first he asked us for advice on how to bind his project. He tot he had to do the proper binding, you know, like how it's done in malaysia where you can find it anywhere at every corner of any street, esp opposite taylor's college:), but we(my unit mate=Lai yee) told him that's impossible..you can't find any proper binding in russia!!haha..instead we asked him to just use a file (the file actually looks like those manilla card files that the offices back home use, nope not the hard cover ones but the flimsy manilla card ones except that instead of the manilla card, they replaced it with some transparent wrapper at the front and some flimsy plastic at the back)..haha..yeah, well it's useful since i've been using that for 5 years now..plus it's cheap. really cheap..around 1 RM. We told him that he can buy it at any nearest metro station, but then he insisted that my fren give him a used one(the file actually contained my fren's surgery case report)....i was actually kinda shocked by that..what would have driven this junior of mine to such desperation? i mean, the metro onli lies about 8 minutes away from the hostel!!! i bet it's the stress..to think a
bout it, i think i was like him 4 years ago..hehe....boy did i change. now i've just become this lazy, noisy, annoying BUT cute girl..haha....

10 minutes later, the junior came in again and asked us how to prepare for bio exam! oh mi god....i kinda forgot we had biology in 1st year..... i actually stood in front of him smilling but actually, i was trying to get my brain to work thinking to myself....what's bio....what's bio...how did i pass that exam...who's my teacher....did i study at all for bio??hehe.....but then fortunately, i remembered and told him that the lectures would be sufficient and do you know what he replied next? He said that he didn't understand all the lectures that were given by our infamous professor Galina!!!haha....that brought back memories! i know that situation too well...you know, russians really don't speak english at all!!!! so, almost 90% of all lectures that were given were kinda not understandable...doesn't make sense at all!!! but we have to make do with what we have and still need to swallow everything and vomit everything..yeah we have that 'swallow and vomit' system. I feel sorry for him but hey, that's life in russia..to adapt well you have to go thru all these strange and weird situations.

Well, i think i've adapted well. i'm alreadi half russianised..hehe....but i'm still who i am..plus the wrinkles, eyebags and etc..hehe...life here might look tough..but i've got a group of close frens to support me and get me thru the bad times!! cheers to all my fello MMA frens!
